CONCEPT:
LDPE – low density polyethylene is a thermoplastic made from the monomer ethylene. LDPE was the first type of polyethylene, produced in 1933 by ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) using a high-pressure process through free radical polymerization.
CHARACTERISTIC:
- Light weight, good impact resistance
- Resistant to organic solvents, acids, and alkalis effectively
- Good electrical insulation
- At low temperatures, it still retains a certain flexibility
- Does not absorb water, good corrosion resistance
- Non-toxic, colorless, odorless, tasteless
- Resistant to influences caused by the external environment, anti-cracking
- Excellent flow or flow properties
- LDPE maintains viscosity for difficult processing, making it difficult to manufacture the goods.
