- Has the ability to absorb moisture
- Mechanical strength, high hardness, resistant to tearing, impact and abrasion
- Transparent, inert to the food environment
- O2 and CO2 permeability is better than other plastics

Production of plastic beverage containers, plastic bottles, containers for food and liquids
Injection molding to shape, in industry often combined with glass fiber
