CONCEPT:
HDPE (Hight Density Poly Ethylene) is one of many polymers derived from poly ethylene. HDPE is the result of polymerization of high density ethylene molecules under low pressure, combined with some catalysts such as Chromium or Silicon. HDPE granule products are widely used in daily life due to their long life, no rust and no corrosion by salts and acids.
CHARACTERISTICS OF HDPE:
- The most important characteristic of HDPE is that it is extremely durable, able to withstand the destruction of liquid solutions such as concentrated acids, alkalis, salt, and acid rain very well. It cannot rust in these environments.
- Does not conduct electricity, does not conduct heat, does not allow air and water to penetrate
- Smooth, flexible surface
- Perfect resistance to temperature and ultraviolet rays from direct sunlight, the product is not subject to mechanical or physical aging. In addition, HDPE does not change pressure compared to other types of pipes even when the temperature drops below -40oC.
- Fire resistance is very good, the product only softens and deforms slightly. Products from HDPE plastic only catch fire at very high temperatures (>327oC).
- Flexible, can withstand much deformation under high loads.
- The product has very high tightness (watertightness, airtightness) so it does not leak
